Find your adventure in Cadmos Village
In the close vicinity of Dubrovnik, one can find a picturesque settlement Cadmos Village in Konavle Valley. In the thick forest which neighbors the area, a unique site for nature lovers and adventure addicts has been founded. It is called Cadmos Village, and might become a very big thing in Croatia’s tourist offer. Technically a large adventure park filled with attractions, Cadmos hosts its guests in a charming treehouse, where they are awoken every morning by the bird singing.
“It all started when we establishes our travel agency which excels in the adventure tourism,” explains Zoran Ateljevic, one of project’s founding officials. “In late 2012, we begun to construct Cadmos Village as a unique ecological-adventure park, powered by solar energy.”
The complex features a large restaurant with a terrace on the tree, an archery range and probably the first treehouse available for renting in Croatia. The accommodation has been designed with help of American builders Michael Garnier and Pete Nelson. The treehouse has 40 square meters of interior, and can host up to six people.
The construction of the house was not an easy task. Zoran Ateljević, Goran Jerković and their colleagues had to climb a lot, using ropes and similar tools. However, since all of them are members of Croatian Mountain Rescue Service, they were more than ready to answer the challenge. The treehouse really fits the scenery, while the windows provide a fantastic view of surrounding Konavle region. Check out the video clip below for more vibes of this site.
According to owners, an average price for season 2016 is set to 250-300 € for overnight stay. A small price to pay for dedicated nature lovers with adventurous mind. Not to mention that crowds won’t be an issue with accommodation such as this. Learn more about Cadmos Village on its official website and do consider booking it for your next stay on Croatian shore.
