Trip Overview
The Dinaric Alps is a coastal mountain range spanning six countries in the Balkans, and is one of the best examples of the limestone Karst terrain in Europe.
We’ll climb Biokovo mountain, peak of Velika Vlasulja (2,337 metres) on Volujak mountain, starting from the Sutjeska River in Bosnia and Herzegovina, trekking through beech and pine trees, passing by the glacial lake of Volujak at 1,660 metres and ending near the border of Montenegro.
We’ll ascend the peak of Bobotov Kuk (2,522 metres) in Montenegro for panoramic views of the valleys, meadows and canyons of the Durmitor National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We will finish this epic tour at 1,894 meters over the Bay of Kotor on Mt. Orijen, part of a massif bordering Montenegro, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Day 2: Biokovo mountain trekking tour
Biokovo is the second-largest mountain range in the picturesque region of Dalmatia in Croatia which lies along the Dalmatian coast on the Adriatic sea, between the Cetina and Neretva rivers. Its highest peak Sv. Jure stands 1762 meters tall. 196 km² of the mountain range is protected as a nature park. Biokovo is part of the Dinaric Alps which stretch along the Dalmatian coast. To the northwest of Biokovo is Mosor mountain, and to the southeast are Sutvid and Rilić.
Our trekking program begins in the small, picturesque village of Makar, located beneath the mountain slopes of Biokovo. The adventure program will follow narrow rocky mountain paths up towards a mountain peak 1422 m tall, located on the southern side of Biokovo. Once we reach a mountain hut on the Vošac peak, you can enjoy a unique view of the surrounding valley, the town of Makarska, and the islands Brač, Hvar and Korčula.
Afterwards we will continue through the Dalmatian karst, before returning to the city of Makarska. Transfer to the city of Međugorje in Bosnia and Herzegovina for overnight.

Day 3: Mountain of Volujak trekking tour
The Volujak Mountain is located on the border of Bosnia & Herzegovina and Montenegro, including the southwestern part of the Maglić-Volujak-Bioč mountain range, between the Sutjeska, Drina, Piva and Vrbnica Rivers. The highest peaks on Volujak are “Velika Vlasulja” at 2337 m, “Široka Točila”at 2297 m, “Studenac”at 2294 m and “Previja” at 2273 m.
Transfer from city of Međugorje to the Sutjeska River. The trekking program begins at the Sutjeska hotel, beneath the Volujak Mountain near the Sutjeska River.
The adventure continues along narrow mountain paths towards the Volujak Lake, with glacial origins, at an altitude of 1660 m. After a short break, the journey continues through clusters of beech and pine trees to the highest peak of Volujak. As we trek back along the paths, take in the spectacular views of the surrounding valleys. Transfer to the village of Žabljak in Montenegro.

Day 4: National Park Durmitor trekking tour
The Durmitor mountain range in northwestern Montenegro features excellent rock climbing areas. It borders the Tara, Piva River and the Komarnica River Canyons and its highest peak, Bobotov Kuk, stands at 2,522 meters high.
We’ll begin our trek from Sedlo and continue through the Surutka valley and Zeleni Vir with a narrow and very difficult rocky path towards the highest peak in Montenegro, Bobotov Kuk.
Bobotov Kuk, along with Bezimeni Vrh (2487 m) and Đevojka (2440 m) are the tallest rocks of the Durmitor Soa Nebeska. Durmitor is a splendid site from any angle — its slender silhouette dominates the mountain profile in northern Montenegro.
After a session of rock climbing here we will return to the base. No experience nor specific skills are needed for the rock climbing — just a good physical condition.

Day 5: Trekking Montenegro’s coastal mountains
In the morning we’ll transfer from Žabljak to Vrbanj, in the Orijen mountain range, one of the most interesting areas of Montenegro’s coastal mountains.
The Orijen is located at the confluence of three borders: Montenegro, Croatia and Bosnia Herzegovina, and is the largest mountain range in the Adriatic.
Our trekking tour begins in the small village of Vrbanj, located beneath the Orijen Mountain. The path continues along a mountain path towards Sedlo, located at 1650 m. After a short break, we will head towards the highest peak, Orijen, at 1894 m. From here you can enjoy the magnificent view of the Boka Kotorska Bay.
After returning to the base we will proceed to the city of Cavtat.

Day 6: City of Dubrovnik and Srđ hiking tour
Hike the mountain Srđ, enoy the beautiful view of the old town of Dubrownik and relax walking trough its history. The city of Dubrovnik joined the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 1979 and we will see today some of the reasons for this honour. We begin the walk in an area on the east side of Dubrovnik, Ilijina Glavica. The tour then continues along the old streets lined with stone houses, until we reach a narrow path leading to the Imperial fortress.
The views of Dubrovnik and the surrounding areas are magnificent from the fortress. We’ll continue our journey with short ride by cable car from the fortress directly to the old town. After that we have guided tour walking through history of Dubrovnik and its monuments in this gorgeous seaside city. This will be arranged in escort with licensed guide.

Day 7: Free day for exploring the south of Croatia
Today you are free to relax along Cavtat beautiful two peninsulas Rat and Sustjepan or enjoy whatever else might strike your fancy in this gorgeous seaside area.
